Mr. Murray has more than 4 years of academic and professional experience in a range of planning topic areas. Chief among them are environmental and land use planning, urban design, transportation planning, economic analysis, and public policy, among others. As part of his undergraduate education, he has had the opportunity to conduct an Initial Study and contribute toward the creation of a Specific Plan, Health Element, and Active Transportation Plan. Primary tasks for these products included research, GIS mapping, design document creation, community workshop facilitation, and plan writing. Through his professional involvements, Mr. Murray has experience in both the public and private sectors on a variety of duties, most recent among them plan review, GIS analysis, and inventory management.
Mr. Murray is interested in the intersection between land use, sustainability, and environmental justice. He looks forward to involvements in land use studies; the preparation of Specific Plans, Master Plans, Environmental Assessments, Program and Project Environmental Impact Reports (EIRs), Initial Studies, and Mitigated Negative Declarations (MNDs).
