Mr. Heller has more than 4 years of experience and currently serves as a Staff Environmental Scientist as Meridian Consultants. His background in atmospheric science, GIS analysis, and air quality analysis provides a multidisciplinary approach for various projects. Previously, he worked for various agencies, including the South Coast Air Quality Management District, Southern California Gas Company/Sempra Energy, and the National Weather Service. Mr. Heller has prepared technical documents in air quality and climate science; conducted meteorological analyses; researched low-level tornado formation; and planned projects in the energy sector for sewer pipe installation.
At Meridian Consultants, Mr. Heller is responsible for planning, preparing, and monitoring environmental research, as well as completing impact analyses. He uses computational modeling for air quality to determine if a project would meet local, regional, and state rules and regulations. Most recently, he has spent his time working on regulatory compliance with respect to environmental impacts from mixed-use projects.
