Mr. Carr received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara with an outside concentration in Politics and Policy. His studies included 10 months at the Queen Mary University of London.
In addition, Mr. Carr completed a fellowship with the University of California Global Food Initiative, where he addressed food insecurity by repurposing underutilized spaces for sustainable food production. He wrote several successful grants while at UCSB that delivered funding for campus environmental sustainability programs. He also assisted the Campus Planning and Design Group with the environmental review of one of the projects in the Campus Long Range Development Plan.
At Meridian Consultants, Mr. Carr is responsible for planning and preparing environmental research; determining impact analyses; and formulating mitigation measures for various projects.
