Ms. Renteria is a Staff Planner with a background in environmental construction and noise monitoring. This experience has resulted in an in-depth understanding of land use regulations and their application in major projects and city planning. Ms. Renteria has experience in land use planning; land use studies; the preparation of environmental documents such as Addendums to EIRs, Initial Studies, and Mitigated Negative Declarations. She is also well versed in Geospatial Information Sciences. Ms. Renteria has also provided a wide range of environmental consulting services to the City of Beverly Hills, in the form of mitigation monitoring for the construction of the Metro Purple Line Extension Project.
Ms. Renteria’s experience has mostly consisted of in-field monitoring and thus she understands the application of land use planning and regulation beyond the formal document process.
Ms. Renteria is working on several commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in urban and rural settings for communities throughout the City of Los Angeles. At Meridian she will be responsible for the planning, preparing, and monitoring environmental research.
